Abid couldn’t come round immediately, but he gave us a time the next day and arrived promptly. We were immediately reassured by his calm and professional nature. I have to say that I was delighted with the service provided by Secure and Swift Electrics!
When every electrical item in my kitchen mysteriously went down recently I was desperate for an electrician to come asap.
When I contacted S&S they happened to be working locally and came round when within the hour!
After a test of each electrical item & the circuit board, nothing was showing up as at fault but the electrician didn't stop there, he scouted around outside traced the outside electrics to a fuse in an upstairs bedroom which had blown and was tripping the switch!
Crisis averted and all up and running again.
I have no hesitation in recommending Secure & Swift, they were efficient, polite and above all competent.

I am keen to recommend Secure & Swift Electrics after they were so helpful in sorting out what could have potentially been a nightmare scenario. After my system tripped yet again, I discovered a black tar substance coming out of my fuse box and it turned out that my fuse box was leaking due to wattage overload. I had extended my property and added a few new electrical appliances and items and not been told by the installing electrician that particularly in an old house this can overload the current fuse board.
Secure & Swift came out straight away and made everything safe. They then explained to me what was happening and why and went through the various fuse board replacement options and how they would test my current appliances etc to establish what wattage I needed in my house for now and the future. They next day they gave me a prompt quote on the work.
I had a second opinion form another local company and they told me a totally different story and said I needed to start digging up my drive and have new cables installed from the house to the street fuse box. This quote was enormous. Totally confused I called out UK Power Networks for an independent survey and they told me that the second quotation was totally unnecessary and that I had been wildly misled. They agreed with the diagnosis and planned works of Secure & Swift and thought their price was very reasonable.
I subsequently used them for the work and they did a really good job; efficient, tidy, professional and clear in explaining each step. They were also very transparent about material costs, and I feel I got a brilliant solution to an unexpected but serious problem.
